Meditation is like a seed. The better a seed is cultivated, the more it flourishes. Similarly, the more we practice meditation, the better it cultures the entire nervous system and the body. Our physiology undergoes a change and every cell in the body is filled with ‘prana’ (life force). And as the level of ‘prana' rises in the body we bubble with joy.
Keep in mind three laws while meditating - I am nothing (akinchan), I need nothing (achah) and I am going to do nothing (aprayatna). If you have these three qualities, you will be able to meditate.

When you meditate, the impact of your attention goes to those whose debt you owe, just like your father. They also benefit from your attention. Sometimes when you meditate, you feel great in meditation. While, sometimes you don't feel like you meditated. Meditating doesn't make you feel that your mind is calm. Looks like all the energy is gone. These are the meditations that benefit your ancestors. This is the way to hold the cup, in which when water is poured into the cup, the cup kept on top does not fill till the cup is fully filled. It happens to a lot of people some days that they don't feel good after practicing meditation. They feel lazy or boredom in meditation. These are the meditations that benefit the souls of your ancestors. But, it doesn't happen always. Sometimes it also happens when tiredness or not meditating properly. But, this is one of the main reasons not feeling good after meditating. This is the debt of karma to pay. πΉπΉ

To make your meditations better here are a few things that you should do:
πShake your hands for a few minutes or do some light exercise like jogging, stretching or yoga asanas. These will take care of the restlessness that you may be experiencing.
πDo some breathing exercises and pranayamas. If you don’t know any, take 10 - 15 deep breaths before you start. These will increase the flow of energy in your body and help you feel relaxed.
πSit in a comfortable posture with your spine erect.
πSmile and follow the instructions.

Meditation is letting go of all anger from the past and events of the past, and letting go of all planning for the future. Planning can hold you back from diving deep into yourself. Meditation is accepting this moment and living every moment totally with depth. Just this understanding, and a few days of continuous practice of meditation, can change the quality of your life.
